Marty, originally from Cleveland, Ohio, made a pivotal move to St. John in 1998, alongside his wife Cathy and their two children. Marty is dedicated to his family, and is very proud of his children, who achieved honor student status at The Antilles School on St. Thomas, graduated from colleges in the United States and went on to create their lives in Vermont and Colorado.

He and his family embarked on the journey of constructing a home in Upper Carolina, boasting a breathtaking view overlooking Coral Bay. Marty possess invaluable firsthand insights into the unique lifestyle of living, working, and raising a family on St. John.

Before his relocation to the island, Marty enjoyed a prosperous career spanning two decades in sales, marketing, and management within the specialty steel industry. These well-honed business skills have seamlessly transitioned into his current role as a licensed, full-time real estate Broker with Islandia Real Estate. Over the years, Marty has also had the privilege of serving as the President of The St. John Board of Realtors and as the President of his neighborhood association.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Marty is an enthusiastic sailor, swimmer, diver, and musician. He also derives satisfaction from engaging in hands-on home improvement projects.
