Bills are now in the mail for Virgin Islands 2009 property taxes. The Tax Assessor is issueing 2 tax bills per year while trying to catch up with bills that were delayed while the Court and Government worked out the resolution of several issues over the past few years. The 2009 bills are expected to be at the same rate as 2008.
