I love learning about old traditions and the Guavaberry Rum is great Christmas time tradition! I was considering getting a century plant to use as my Christmas tree this year but have not found one. When I was chatting about this topic at the office, Merry asked me about getting an ink berry tree instead. Well I never heard of that one! Sure enough, she emailed me a link  http://www.vinow.com/blog/christmas-trees-in-the-virgin-islands/  I was very intrigued and excited about this old tradition so I set out on a mission to find an ink berry tree and it was not too hard once I asked one of my local friends about it. I am glad to say 2015 will be my first Christmas with an ink berry tree and I just love it! Happy Holidays! Lynn
