Hey U.S. Virgin Islanders- get ready for clean energy!

According to a recent article in the Virgin Islands Daily News:  “After nearly a year of negotiations, the V.I. Water and Power Authority may be getting closer to selecting one, or several, alternative energy power companies to add to the utility’s power production – a plan that could save ratepayers some money.”  Six alternative and renewable energy providers have been in negotiations with WAPA (Water and Power Authority) to provide waste-to-energy, coal, ocean thermal energy conversion, geothermal power, and a combination of wind and solar energy.  To read the entire article click on the link below:
