Fall for 2012 begins in the Northern Hemisphere on September 22.  The Old Farmer’s Almanac is the go to source for this kind of information, “The word equinox comes from the Latin words for “equal night.”  The fall and spring equinoxes are the only days of the year in which the Sun crosses the celestial equator.”

On the island of St. John it is either a bit of ‘Cabin Fever’ during the month of September or absolute adoration in having this beautiful island to yourself.
