Limin’ – (verb) West Indian slang for loafing or relaxing. Now that summer is upon us, there is a notable slow down in activity here on St. John. Or maybe it’s just me. These lazy, hazy days of summer mean it’s time to take it down a notch and do some serious limin’. The best place for chillin’ out is by far any one of St. John’s beautiful beaches – some of the worlds finest. There are so many opportunities for creative loafing on St. John. I’m thinking a good summer project might be to compile a list for future publication. Of course, this will require months of extensive research and what better time than the present to get started.
