Last night we watched the lunar eclipse from our home in Coral Bay. It was an amazing sight. It made me wonder what the ancients must have thought. Imagine them gazing at the full moon when suddenly it begins to disappear and then turn blood red right before their startled eyes. Our modern scientific explanations sometimes make events like this seem rather ho-hum but either way is was a beautiful thing to belold. Since my cell phone photos didn’t do it justice, I borrowed a couple pix from News of St. John to share with you:
