Plans for a new traffic pattern for Cruz Bay have recently been released by the Virgin Islands Government. A roundabout is planned for the area where the Texaco service station now stands. This, along with the recently completed Enighed Commercial Port, should help decrease the traffic jams in our small village of Cruz Bay. Currently large trucks are having difficulty maneuvering the sharp turns in this area causing major congestion at times. The drawing shows one lane of traffic traveling in a clockwise direction.
