 
ST. THOMAS – After clearing red tape through corrective legislation, the Sun Power Loan Program to give homeowners and small businesses low-cost solar water heaters soon will be up and running.
The program, which pays half the cost of a solar water heater up front and gives V.I. Water and Power Authority customers a low-interest loan for the remaining cost, was launched in January but has yet to issue a single loan.
