The Coral Bay ball field was swamped with Cajun music and blues on Saturday night during the sixth annual St. John Blues Festival. More than 1,000 people filled the ballpark as blues and zydeco legends rocked the stage late into the night. People danced and twirled as most concertgoers took to their feet and pushed close to the stage.
Funds raised by the event will benefit the Voice of the Wetlands, a nonprofit organization that helps preserve Louisiana wetlands. He said that the event raised an estimated $15,000 to $20,000.
