Let’s talk about land. It’s in our Preample to our Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice that Realtors should recognize that the interests of the nation and its citizens require the highest and best use of the land and the widest distribution of land ownership. Currently on St. John, we have 250 active land listings and WOW! what a range we have. Starting at $95,000 for a third of an acre in Emmaus and a going up to $9,999,000 for 12 acres in Saba Bay. I can honestly say that we have a little something for everyone. What this has prompted me to do is start a little series highlighting different areas of the island. No where better to start than at the beginning. Estate Emmaus is located in the Coral Bay area of the island, past the Moravian Church and across the road from Skinny Legs. There are currently 8 parcels on the market ranging from $95,000 to $230,000. The subdivision is called Seagrape Hill with parcels facing from the south west into the valley and around the hill facing east into Coral Bay & beyond. The parcels are approximately 1/4 to 1/3 acre lots and you get fabulous trade winds from the east.
