ST. THOMAS – The tourism sector is seeing marked improvement so far this year compared to 2009.The V.l. Bureau of Economic Research released the tourism indicators this week for the month of July,showing that total visitor arrivals were 17.1 percent higher than they were in July 2009. The report said July was the seventh month in a row to see growth this year. Overall, 179,033 people arrived in the territory in July, compared to the 152,445 who visited in July 2009.
