It’s Carnival Time on St. John!

Graceful dance routines and a glowing smile helped a 19-year-old University of the Virgin Islands student win the Miss St. John 2009 title Saturday night at Winston Wells Ballfield.

Léa Elizabeth Scott was crowned Miss St. John during the St. John July 4th Festival pageant. She competed in talent, swimwear, evening wear and question-and-answer segments in front of a field packed with hundreds of people from St. John and St. Thomas.
